Powerful LRE (Long Reach Ethernet) to VDSL2 (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line 2) converter allows data to be transmitted over a symmetrical pair of wires at speeds up to 100 Mbps over 300 m or 50/2 Mbps over distances up to 1.4 km. The device is versatile as a master (CO) / slave (CPE) unit, switch mode setting. The unit supports VDSL2 operating modes 17a, 30a as well as "band Plan997" affecting symmetrical data transmission at higher speeds.

With the help of an external splitter, voice service can be maintained on the telephone line without further wiring modification, data traffic is simply associated with existing voice traffic. This makes it possible to use the telephone cable lines originally intended for connection not only to subscribers but also between analogue exchanges.
ISP (Internet service provider) is thus enabled to offer multimedia services, VOD (video on demand), VoIP (voice over IP), Video phone, IPTV, etc. The router can be successfully operated over O2 VDSL lines.

This product is not compatible with PLANET VC-201A converter.

Settings for O2 VDSL connection

modem in CPE mode; additional DIP switches FEC, VDSL profile, SNR according to link quality (by default FEC=Fast, VDSL=30a, SNR=9dB)

in router on WAN interface apply VLAN ID:848

set PPPoE client over WAN, Login: O2/O2

also pay attention to your router settings, its firewall, access rights, UPnP etc.
