APPLICATION:

? Remove the object that caused the puncture.

? Lubricate the cutter with the supplied glue and hammer into the hole left by the nail according to the angle at which the nail entered the tyre, in order to fill the hole well with glue.

? Thread the string onto the awl and bend it in half, with the ends upwards.

? Brush the string with glue and use the awl to press the threaded string into the nail hole, following the angle of the earlier penetration. With a firm movement, push the awl with the string through the damaged area.

Take care that the cord goes all the way through the tyre and that you do not pull all the cord into the tyre.

The two ends of the string should extend about 0.4 - 1cm above the tyre tread. With a firm motion, remove the awl from the tyre(do not twist the awl inside the tyre when pulling it out - this may cause it to break).

? Cut off the two protruding ends of the cord leaving 5mm above the tyre. The cord will flush with the tread surface when driving.
