To tension the chain correctly, the first step is to gently pull up the chain with the screwdriver supplied so that the chain hangs on the bar. Then slowly pull up (with the screwdriver) until the chain is no more than 2mm from the bar.

The chain is lubricated at the factory It loses its properties over time. Remember to lubricate the chain or guide slot every 20/30 minutes of operation.
