The DIGITUS® 14" dock expands your laptop with 14 additional ports via a single USB-C™ connection. It includes three video ports (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA) for connecting monitors, projectors, TVs and more. As three monitors are supported, they can be used simultaneously. In Windows, a video signal can be sent to three different video ports simultaneously (SST mode); in addition, three different video signals can be sent to three different graphics ports (MST mode). Mac OS only supports SST mode. The other interfaces offer connections for all the usual connections that a modern docking station should have. For example, a network connection, other USB connections (USB-C™, USB-A), audio output or two independent card readers The integrated USB-C™ port with PD charging allows you to charge your laptop while using the dock. The dock also has various USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports for data transfer, connecting peripherals such as mice and the eye, and charging mobile devices. Thanks to intelligent cable management, the docking station can be connected to both sides of the laptop (left or right). Not all USB-C™ ports support all USB Type-C™ functions. Check if your laptop's USB-C™ port supports DisplayPort alternate mode (DP-Alt Modi) and USB power (PD).
Video output options depend on your laptop's graphics card and the connected monitor. Some graphics cards have limited MST support, and some monitors are also limited in available resolution.
Note: This product supports USB Type-C™ specifications, not Thunderbolt™ 3 specifications.
