The Apple Watch 9 smartwatch features an always-on 1.9-inch OLED retina touchscreen display with 396 x 484 px resolution, hardened Ion-X glass and up to 2000 nits of maximum brightness. The case itself is then made of aluminum, ensuring durability and strength. The watch is powered by a dual-core Apple S9 processor and the WatchOS 10 operating system. There is also 64GB of internal memory for storing apps and their data. The strength of the watch is its unique blood oxygen level sensor and an ECG app that can generate an electrocardiogram waveform. In addition, a body temperature sensor is also included, which makes it possible to monitor, for example, fertile days. Thanks to the improved gyroscope and accelerometer, there is now a fall or car crash detection function, which allows the watch to detect that you have been involved in a car accident and can automatically call emergency services. GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC technologies are also available. The built-in battery will keep the watch running for up to 36 hours in low power mode. Last but not least, the IP6X dust resistance or water resistance according to ISO 22810:2010, which means that it can be used near the surface, for example when swimming in the pool or in the sea.
A magnetic USB-C fast charging cable is included.
