Industrial MODBUS gateway with 1x RS-232 (DB9) + 1x 4pin RS-485/422 terminal block conversion to TCP/IP protocol (RJ-45 port 100Base-TX). The serial communication type is selectable RTU/ASCII, master/slave.
Redundant power supply in the range of DC 9-48 V / AC 24 V, IP30 protection, DIN rail or wall mounting, metal enclosure, operating temperature -40 to +75 °C.
The transmission of serial communication over IP protocol is especially used for data acquisition, control automation, SCADA/HMI systems and control of camera systems. It is also a substitute for physical conversion of the serial protocol to another transmission medium. It extends the range of serial communication virtually indefinitely.
Industrial Ethernet devices are designed for harsh operating conditions with a wide range of operating temperatures, uncertain power supply and frequent shocks, enabling the deployment of the well-known Ethernet technology also in industrial environments. It is equally suitable for installations in outdoor enclosures with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications).
