Converter, a device for capturing and converting analogue video and audio to digital. Thanks to this small device , you can rip memorable films, e.g. from a VHS cassette, to the digital signal used today. It converts the analogue audio/video signal from a camcorder or video recorder into a sequence of ones and zeros that the computer can understand.
Use equipment that corresponds to the standard of the cassette you wish to transfer:VCR or VHS camcorder for VHS cassette
video or sVHS camera for sVHS and VHS cassettes
video recorder or camcorder for Video 8/Hi 8 cassette tape
The VHSc cassette can be run in a VHSc camcorder, or using the appropriate adapter in a VHS VCR.
Please also ensure that the VCR or camcorder plays the video standard in which the cassette was recorded (PAL, SECAM, NTSC).
It comes with a set of sockets for connecting the VCR, a USB plug for communicating with a PC and a simple program for capturing and editing recordings.
Before recording, check that there is sufficient space on the disc.
A driver disc is included in the kit.
